How do I automate the U4K receiver?

  • Download SatSked from digital-auto.com. SatSked is a simple software package that can be used with a PC to automatically switch your U4K Receiver to any channels available.  There is a small fee to the author for its use.  Downloading is free, and you only pay if you keep and use it. Do not select FL1 - it is an error and will cause you to miss feeds on LF1.
  • Enco's DadPro32 is capable of switching the receiver through hardbranches.  Your nearest workstation needs to have an available serial port connected to the receiver. For more information, read Using DAD to Control the Unity 4000 Receiver.
  • AudioVault AV-100 uses command strings to steer the receiver.
  • Broadcast Tools PBB-24 can generate the ASCII for the U4K at 9600 baud.  Just program a button for LF1.
